With nearly 20 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Anas Athar is a highly respected and uniquely qualified specialist known for delivering exceptional orthodontic care. As the only dual-trained orthodontist and oral and maxillofacial radiologist in the entire state of Texas, Dr. Athar offers a rare combination of expertise that sets him apart in the field.

Dr. Athar’s advanced training spans various specialties, including interceptive orthodontics, clear aligner therapy, dental sleep medicine, and advanced dental imaging. His dedication to lifelong learning matches his commitment to clinical excellence—he frequently attends prestigious dental institutions and international seminars to stay at the forefront of evolving techniques and technologies.

Throughout his career, Dr. Athar has been honored with several distinguished awards, including Orthodontist of the Year (2016), Dental Specialist of the Year (2016), and Distinguished Teacher of the Year (2007). His academic contributions have also been featured in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the renowned Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Radiology (OOOE).

Dr. Athar began his dental journey at Baqai Dental College in Pakistan before advancing his education in the U.S. He earned his certification in oral and maxillofacial radiology from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and completed his orthodontic training at Saint Louis University.
